One notable example is the launch of a new campaign for Dom Perignon featuring Lady Gaga, American singer, songwriter and actress known for her unique style and artistic expression. This represents a bold and innovative collaboration that pushes the boundaries of traditional champagne marketing. The partnership is a strategic move by Dom Perignon to appeal to a younger, trend-setting audience, given Lady Gaga's influence and popularity among millennials and Gen Z.

Another significant development in LVMH's Champagne & Wines business is the construction of a new Nicolas Ruinart Pavillon in Reims. This modern building, designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, is set to open in September 2024. The opening will mark Maison Ruinart's 300th anniversary in 2029, highlighting LVMH's approach to celebrating and promoting the heritage and history of its Champagne brands. The pavillon will feature a retail area, lounge, bar-restaurant, and terrace, and is expected to double Ruinart's reception capacity, aiming to welcome 50,000 visitors per year, compared to 26,000 at present. The increased visitor capacity is expected to drive higher footfall and sales, creating new revenue streams for Maison Ruinart. This architectural project showcases LVMH's commitment to investing in the long-term growth and development of its Champagne brands.

In addition, LVMH has been actively expanding its presence in the wine industry through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. The company has continued its international development of Chateau d'Esclans, a renowned rosé wine producer. It has also recently acquired a majority stake in Minuty estate, a major producer and exporter of rosé wines, with nearly 9 million bottles sold each year, of which more than 50% are sold internationally. Some market players have speculated on an acquisition price tag between 300 to 400 million euros for the estate. This move is expected to enhance LVMH's position in the Provence rosé wine market, which has been experiencing strong demand in recent years.

Moreover, LVMH's acquisition of Joseph Phelps Vineyards in December 2022 has been successfully integrated into its portfolio, aligning with the company's development strategy to offer a diversified and comprehensive range of wines and spirits to its consumers and distribution partners. Joseph Phelps Vineyards, founded in 1973 by Joseph Phelps, has established itself as a leading producer of high-quality wines, with vineyards spread across 525 acres in Napa Valley and the western Sonoma Coast.

The estate owns and farms 425 acres of vines in Napa Valley, spanning nine estate vineyards in prestigious appellations, with an additional 100 acres over two vineyards on the western Sonoma Coast. Producing approximately 750,000 bottles a year, Joseph Phelps wines have gained popularity among private wine collectors and steakhouses for their exceptional quality.

The Napa Valley winery in St. Helena also offers a full hospitality and leisure experience, with private tasting areas, a state-of-the-art kitchen, an outdoor terrace, and a variety of tasting experience options for visitors. The strategic rationale behind the acquisition includes the expansion of LVMH's footprint in the United States, the continued diversification of its drinks portfolio, and the strength behind the family-owned businesses' heritage.

Another notable development in LVMH's Wines & Spirits business segment is the success of Chandon, one of its sparkling wine brands. Chandon has been performing well, thanks to the healthy start of its Garden Spritz product, which combines sparkling wine with a spiced aromatic orange liqueur. This innovation has tapped into the growing trend of ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages and has positioned Chandon as a key player in the apéritif category.
